Brendan Miniter argues in the WSJ that Giuliani can appeal to social conservatives in early states. They are, after all desperate. The Rev. Richard Land, president of the Southern Baptist Convention's policy arm, sums up why: "Winability is a bigger issue in this campaign because of the Darth Vader-like specter of a Hillary Clinton presidency. " I must remember to find the Scripture that says representatives of Christian denominations should make snarky comments about our leaders. Doesn't seem to be setting a very good example for the flock.
